My memoir

At school for writing we had to write a memoir and this is what my memoir is about Read down below.


It was 2009 when I first started school. As I walked into my new classroom that I have been in like 1 or 2 time because of school visits . It smelled like a kindergarden when I first enter the room. It looked like an normal classroom you would see everyday if you went to school. So the bell rang and I sat next to someone on the mat and her name was chloe so I asked her if she wanted to play together on the mat so chloe said yes. The bell rang for morning tea and we went on the junior playground and we played on the playground the whole morning tea time.We heard the bell ring we both went awww I don’t want to we want to play more chloe asked if I wanted to be friends with her I said YES she said yay. We went back to class with a smile on our face  and we both said can't wait for tomorrow.

Statistics project

 For our maths this term we have be working on statistics we had to pick a group to work with but i was not at school that day. So when i got back mrs put me in a group with cortney and we made a poster thing and i will show you a photo of it.

We have just been learning about Kupe discover the world  we had to pick four things to of a doc that the teacher shared with us but my group only had to do 3 because we had four people in our group. So I picked to do. Make a profile of s famous New Zealander so I did that Here is a photo 

I think my work my learning by the way it looks. This is because I had no idea how to draw a maori house or who kate sheppard was until i researched her.

If I did this kete again i would pick something that is more me what I mean is I wanted to try something new but i did not really like doing these task.

I also picked. Make Draw cartoon character that is famous is New Zealand so I picked lord. Here is a photo

This was quite hard to draw so I did this instead of taking to long to color the whole thing in.

New Zealand Kapa Haka

Kapa Haka is a maoris way of dancing in new zealand. Kapa Haka generally involves a poi dance.

Props that are used in Kapa Haka are rakam taiaha poi and patu Kapa Haka started before pre-European times where it developed from traditional forms of maori pastimes.

Drama

Purpose
Why do people dance
People dance to release emotion. Some people dance to show their love for dancing like lets say someone had a real passion for lets say ballet that person would try there hardest to show their love for ballet.

Some other people dance for fun. So lets say someone ones mum or dad told their son/daughter to pick a sport or dance to do outside of school because all you do at home is go on your devices so you need to do something else for a change so they pick hip hop dancing just for fun does that make sense.
